Pabellones Jerez

Seville

Pabellones Jerez is a refined place that offers a delicious combination of Sevillian essence and intimate spaces.

The Pabellones Jerez complex became a reference in the cultural and livestock world, with the first meeting of the poets of the Generation of ’27 taking place there, gathered as a tribute to Luis de Góngora, led by Ignacio Sánchez Mejías.

With the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929 came its most illustrious period when the son of the founder decided to build a much more ambitious space, with about 15,000 m2. To achieve this, he involved the winemakers of Jerez to build their advertising pavilions around the corrals. The winemakers who built the pavilions were those of Bodegas González Byass, Domecq, Osborne, Marqués de Mérito, Garvey Sánchez Romero and Agustín Blázquez. The construction lasted from 1927 to 1929 and the typical materials of the regionalist movement were used in the finishes with a large representation of ceramics and the illustrious ceramist of the time, Enrique Orce.

Today, almost a century later, in addition to enjoying a historical flavor and lush gardens, the Pabellones Jerez complex offers services for all types of celebrations. A refined, cozy place, with an excellent location in Seville, offers a delicious combination of Sevillian essence and intimate spaces.
